“compulsory education is the chink in the armor of capitalist societies; they try to teach children the values of contract and initiative but base their educational system on compulsion and conformity. communist societies suffer from no such inconsistency: they try to teach children the values of command and obedience, and their educational system is consistent with this ethic.”

polyvore is ridiculous. it is frustrating because it won’t let me clip stuff from 90% of the websites i want to use, but i am still hooked, thanks to ms. v. cary ritter and her tumblr.
here are my first ventures.
the above is mostly inspired by my recent rainy day at the darkroom, while the bottom one is in the buddy holly/bob dylan-esque americana vibe. they are both combos of items i own and items i would really, really like to own.
so addictive. god help me.
