this is my default posture.
speaking of living in a cave, here is a cave in cappadocia that is my new dream home.
“some of the couple’s caves remain works in progress, used to store their various collections: decorative wrought iron, iranian copper trays, antique brass beds, terra-cotta amphora… but other spaces have been left untouched… as a sort of ‘garden of impermanence.'” – beautiful. story & photos (including a view from the outside of the sprawling cave complex) from the nyt.
“cantabit vacuus coram latrone viator.“
“the traveller with empty pockets will sing in the thief’s face.”
– juvenal [c. 60-140 a.d.]
i’ll take the cave. it’s too damn hot out.
“the last enemy that shall be destroyed is death.”
no surprise that darth is way into it.
