václav havel and his wife, olga, imitate a painting.

this is in acknowledgement of the student protests that became the “velvet revolution” [17-28 november, 1989] … i’ve been reading lots of havel’s essays lately, and many of them are poignantly applicable and relevant to the movements seeking social change that are happening now. his writing really lends a critical eye to what needs to be changed, as well as what methods are worthy or unworthy / effective or ineffective to do so. excerpts to come.
